Celebrating a decade of the LEAD programme!

This year marks a major milestone for our internal leadership development programme, LEAD, we’re celebrating a full decade of empowering future leaders!

This year, 17 colleagues from across the Group completed the 10-month leadership programme, the next cohort to celebrate their LEAD graduation and their new skills to Lead, Evolve, Achieve, and Develop.

The LEAD programme, continues to be central to developing employees and showcasing the future leaders at Regenda. Delivered in partnership with The Learning Foundry, our internal training provider at The Regenda Group, LEAD blends monthly workshops, mentorship, and project-based learning to help LEADers grow in confidence, strategic thinking, and communication. All learners gain a Level 3 Institute of Leadership and Management qualification as part of the programme.

Sean Rothwell, Director of People Services, reflected on this year’s programme:

“LEAD is our annual programme for aspiring leaders to develop personal, professional and leadership skills. As part of the programme, delegates benefit from a mentoring partnership with a senior manager, attendance at a series of bespoke workshops, completion of reflective learning practice and participation in a group project to design a solution to an identified business improvement opportunity.

The graduation event provided this year’s 17 delegates with an opportunity to showcase their projects and celebrate their achievements alongside their managers and mentors and was a truly inspiring and joy-filled occasion for all who attended.”

Laura Swainston, Commercial Training Manager at The Learning Foundry, added:

“It’s been a truly wonderful 10 months getting to work with this year’s delegates and support them on their journey to brilliance. Everyone worked so hard, but I’d like to say a special congratulations to the award winners, I can’t wait to see what you do next.”

Lisa ONeill, a Customer Service Specialist was named LEADer of the Year for 2025. She said:

“My LEAD journey has been so much more than just a project or a programme, it’s been an experience of growth, collaboration, and shared learning that I’ll truly treasure.
I’ve learned so much from each of you, not only through your ideas and creativity, but through your positivity and resilience. Thank you all for making these 10 months such a special and rewarding chapter.”

With 10 years of impact and hundreds of graduates, LEAD remains a shining example of our purpose: creating opportunities for people and places to thrive.

Congratulations to our newest leaders – we can’t wait to see where you go next.
