New Ferry Regeneration Project

The Regenda Group is proud to lead the regeneration of New Ferry, working in partnership with Wirral Council to create a vibrant, thriving community. This ambitious project will deliver more than 70 high-quality homes and transform the local area with improved public spaces, investment in people, and opportunities for growth. The first phase of the project is now complete, and residents are living in the first new homes in the heart of New Ferry.

More new homes for New Ferry

The second phase of the New Ferry regeneration project is underway, and we’re creating an additional 43 affordable new homes on the site of the former Woodhead Street car park and New Chester Road.

Plans for Bebington Road improvements include safer roads, greenery, and anti-social behaviour reduction.

THE STORY SO FAR

Phase 1 – that’s a wrap!

The first phase is now complete, with 34 new homes and improvements to Grove Street South public car park complete built in the heart of New Ferry.

Alongside the news homes, the car park is open with 54 spaces (including 7 Blue Badge bays), improved lighting, and CCTV.

The new homes have been described by residents as “not just grey apartments” but homes full of character.

Making a house a home

In the summer, we welcomed the first new residents with a street party and ice cream van.

In December, we marked the completion of Phase 1 with a festive community celebration event.

One new family said: “We’re over the moon to have found a home in a beautiful area where our daughter can play and explore safely… we’re excited to make our lovely new apartment into our home.”

Beyond buildings

Regeneration is about more than bricks and mortar. Since we started on site in March 2024, the project has generated £1,480,792* in social value.

Regeneration through collaboration

This regeneration project wouldn’t be possible without collaboration.
