Leadership development at the Regenda Group

People celebrating at the graduation of the Regenda Lead event

The Regenda Group LEAD programme has been helping to develop our future leaders for over seven years.

LEAD which stands for ‘Lead, Evolution, And Development’ is designed for Regenda Group staff to develop personal, professional and leadership skills so they are ready to take on any leadership and management opportunities as they arise.

Creating opportunities for people is central to our core purpose, and our staff are no exception! There are many success stories which have been generated through the LEAD programme including, internal promotions; becoming involved in cross functional projects and of course learning new skills that empower people to maximise the impact they make in their role.

LEAD is run annually and delivered in partnership with The Learning Foundry, who provide Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) accredited workshops as part of the programme.

Applications are invited from anyone working within the Regenda Group. There is no limit on age or time served with the company. At Regenda we believe everyone should have the opportunity to achieve their aspirations and we are pleased to offer a range of staff projects like LEAD which can support with this.

Our Head of Learning and Development and LEAD programme leader, Danielle Soens-Hughes said

“This year’s LEAD programme has been our best yet. We’ve seen the leaders of today share their skills with the leaders of tomorrow with fantastic outcomes that have already identified innovation and efficiencies for the Group. Congratulations to all the 2022 LEAD programme graduates!”.

Michael Birkett, Regenda Group CEO said

“By developing leaders and encouraging a culture where we can learn and grow, we can equip people with the skills they need to make a real difference. Congratulations to everyone who took part in this years’ programme, I’m looking forward to seeing their ideas and skills put into practice as they become next generation of leaders.”

One of the LEAD mentees, Kirsty from our Health and Safety team, commented how she felt the programme helped her to grow both personally and professionally, she said

“My confidence has grown, I’ve built strong relationships across the Group and I feel inspired to go out and fulfil my potential.

“I had a great support network through the programme, including tutors, speakers, fellow programme participants and my mentor Lesley Dixon, a Regenda Group Board Member. I look forward to continuing on my Regenda journey with the skills, knowledge and confidence LEAD has empowered me with.”
